In this message, we look at the account of the first eyewitnesses of Jesus’ resurrection — the women who were coming to anoint His dead body. And through it, we learn some encouraging truths about how God relates to us in those moments that have us wondering “What just happened??”
This Was Always Supposed to Happen - Luke 24:13-35
In this message, we see two people walking from Jerusalem to Emmaus encounter the risen Jesus. And in this interaction, Jesus shows to them from all the Old Testament Scriptures that His death, burial and resurrection were always part of the plan for Messiah!
When You Happen to Doubt - John 20:19-31
In this message, we look at Thomas’ encounter with the risen Jesus. We find that he had his doubts, but that Jesus met him in his doubts, and invites him into a deeper faith. And we learn that God is calling each of us to a deeper faith! We can declare our faith even in the midst of our doubts!
What Happens Next? - Matthew 28:16-20
In this message, we look at the disciples last encounter with Jesus. They were still left with some doubts and questions. They were essentially asking Jesus “What happens next?” And Jesus’ answer to them is a mission—The Great Commission!
Did the Resurrection Really Happen? - Acts 9:1-22
In this message, we look at the conversion of Saul of Tarsus. In one experience, he had 3 important questions answered for him — “Can I trust God’s Word?”, “Is Jesus who He says He is?”, and “Did Jesus really rise from the dead?” These are questions that many wrestle with today as well! So throughout the message, we evaluate the evidence for the reliability of Scripture, Jesus, and the resurrection!
